Accidents Happen – This One Could Have Been Prevented
Sometimes when I come out to record a Video I don't know what the story of the Video is going to be until something Happens and that's the case today And the story of today's video became an Accident can happen at any time Try to be cautious look for potential Hazards and wear your protective gear so I'm just gonna let the video play Chronologically and you'll see what I'm Talking about Thank you [Music] Foreign [Music] [Music] All right Thank you Hey it's Brock here from Rock Hill Farms I tell you what it is a beautiful day in February to be out doing this I think it's about 50 degrees right now Just about right that you get cold Unless you're doing something Only thing that sucks is I wish it Wasn't so muddy out here But oh well Hmm [Music] Tired [Music] Foreign [Music]
[Music] [Music] [Music] Mm-hmm [Music] [Music] Foreign [Music] [Music] All right Oh [Music] [Music] Foreign Every time I start this splitter I put The reverse Jinx on it and announce to Everyone that it starts on the first Pull Choke [Music] [Applause] [Music] Thank you Foreign Foreign [Music] [Music] Foreign [Music] That's not really doing it for me As far as my process Just because Those are heavy I'm gonna see if I can Make this easier by getting down on the
Ground and doing it [Music] Foreign [Music] So today I was for the most part wearing Protective gear but this accident still Happened through carelessness and I'll Give you a zoomed in shot of this but You guys have seen I cut a bunch of These totes for firewood and I cut them Off with a grinder and I remember Specifically on a lot of them rounding Those edges well I didn't round the Edges on this one And I'm usually standing up and not up Against that edge but I should have Rounded all of them off and smoothed Them anyway if I'm going to use these Totes so I was reaching in and I drug my Arm and Drug it across that And right here there's a cut maybe three Inches long But it was pretty darn deep it wasn't if It had been longer I would have had to Go and get it stitched but I just used Some butterflies I cleaned it all out I Washed it out and I put used the Butterfly strips to kind of pull it Closed and did several butterflies Across it and then taped up under it so I think it's going to be fine and then There's a smaller cut right here but I had a couple more hours I was gonna Split some wood but with that being
Right at the edge of my elbow I think I'm just gonna call it a day because I Don't want that to start bleeding again Or those bandages to come off or get Dirty so anyway I appreciate you taking Time to watch this video I'll put links On the screen to a couple more of our Videos and I'll see you next time
